My Bio

On Dec 15, 2011, I had roux-en-y gastric bypass surgery.

I'm all for a respectful conversation between two people, but if you're just going to tell me that WLS is a bandaid or for people with no self control, keep it to yourself. My reasons for surgery are my own and it did not have anything to do with being lazy or having no self control.

I am 33 years old and I live with my fiancé--or, as I like to call him "my undocumented husband". We've been together for six years. Wisconsin doesn't consider that binding, but we do.

We live in a tiny apartment with our two Maine Coon-mix cats--they're gray, fluffy, and so very needy. Who needs a baby when I have a cat that likes to sleep cradled in my arms, right?! :P Babies grow up; needy cats are needy forever.

I work in a healthcare field, though I'm not medical staff (please, translate that to "don't ask me medical questions, because I know nothing!"). I work 12 hour shifts overnights, which is a challenge socially, emotionally, and health-wise, but I love it.

When not working or cradling a cat, I enjoy reading smutty paranormal romance books, swimming, and watching The Big Bang Theory.

I'm a pretty easy going and far too open person. If you have a question for me, please ask! Even if you think it's too personal, I'll probably answer.

By "far too open person", I mean that I tend to over-share. Things most people would keep to themselves, well, I probably won't hesitate to say or write it down. I'm not terribly graphic, but I'll share if I vomited or had some other body issue. Also, sex is not an "off limits" topic, as long as it's applicable to the conversation. Consider yourself WARNED!! :P
